About CVR
The Center for Victim Research (victimresearch.org), a project of JIRN with the Urban Institute, is designed to serve as a one-stop shop for victim service providers and researchers to connect and share knowledge to increase (1) access to victim research and data and (2) the utility of research and data collection to crime victim services nationwide. The project receives support from the Office for Victims of Crime.
CVR is working to promote a broad evidence-base for victim services, seeking out and fostering the translation of research and data that addresses the risk, impact, and response of victimization on all victim populations. As part of this effort, CVR is also promoting engagement in participatory research survivors and communities.
