The Justice Information Resource Network (JIRN), like many peers in the criminal justice research community, has been deeply affected by the recent termination of hundreds of Department of Justice grants. Two of our active awards, the Center for Victim Research (CVR) and the Death in Custody Act (DCRA) Training and Technical Support Center – were among those abruptly ended, eliminating nearly half of our operational funding. Additionally, a separate project where JIRN served as a sub-awardee was also discontinued. In this challenging time, we are asking for your help.
