The Center for the Study of NIBRS Animal Cruelty Data, created by the Animal Welfare Institute (AWI), is offering two $5,000 grants to support research projects where analysis of NIBRS animal cruelty data plays a central role. This funding is designed to promote innovative research that analyzes animal cruelty data and informs prevention and intervention efforts.
Ideal Candidates: Graduate students (master’s or doctoral) with an academic focus on topics such as animal welfare, criminology, sociology, psychology, or related fields who plan to use NIBRS animal cruelty datasets as a core element of their research.
