Throughout the month of October, JIRN is recognizing World Statistics Day. Commemorated in 2010 by the United Nations, World Statistics Day is observed every 5 years. The aim is to raise awareness of the many achievements of official statistics premised on the core values of service, professionalism, and integrity.
The JIRN Community is invited to be a part of this commemoration on October 20 by:
- Reviewing and recommitting to the JIRN Code of Ethics
- For members, renewing your CITI certification in human subjects protection or related certifications
- Recognizing a mentor or colleague committed to the highest level of ethics and integrity in the production and communication of justice-related data. When you make a donation in their honor or memory on or before October 20, we will include them on the roll of honor.
